Eye Exercises  ⁄  7. Divergence. 8-pointed Route2

In the seventh exercise from elementary set you need to follow the dot with your eyes. Before you start, look throught the screen (monitor) to reach the fusion effect. That means that instead of two columns, you’ll see three. While following the dot with your eyes, swith between them: when the dot goes to the right – switch your vision to the right eye and when the dot goes to the left – switch you vision to the left eye. That means, you nedd to change the dominant eye all the way during the exercise

This exercise is a more challenging than the sixth one, because the dot goes only diagonaly.

Let me know if you have any questions.

First I cross my eyes and I see 3 columns. Then I can focus on middle column and I get that weird concentration focus feeling and I can see middle column very very clearly. Am I doing it right?

Mart, don’t rush. Cross-viewing (i.e. fusion in convergence) is the second step http://www.forbestvision.com/eye-exercises-for-myopia-dynamic-convergence/
The first step is parallel-viewing, i.e. fusion in divergence http://www.forbestvision.com/eye-exercises-for-myopia-dynamic-divergence/
