Eye Exercises  ⁄  Myopia and Relaxation Massage, part 2

In myopia, the extraocular muscles get weak as a result of using the wrong visual skills. The weakened muscles in turn can not put forth enough effort to see properly. To solve this problem, you should do exercises to develop the right visual skills. These exercises strengthen the extraocular muscles and allow you to control them properly. Doing them regularly, you can feel how your muscles work and you will start to feel your muscles tire after the exercises. This is a normal side-effect indicating that your muscles need a rest. We also feel tiredness and the strain of the extraocular and mimic muscles after intensive visual work. To relax the muscles, you should do these special exercises.

Lesson 12 – Myopia and Relaxation Massage, part 2

Clench the right hand in a fist, with the thumb bent at a right angle (90 degrees) resting on the forefinger. Press the middle thumb joint to the bridge of your nose.

After prolonged visual activity, the extraocular and mimic muscles become strained. In this case, I recommend the relaxation massage called the “Trefoil”. Begin at the bridge of the nose. Move the thumb of the fist around the right eye; however, upon returning to the bridge of the nose, lower the fist to the left side of the nose. Pass the thumb around the nose above the upper lip, then lift it to the right side of the nose and up to the bridge. Move around the left eye over the eyebrow and under the eye back to the bridge of the nose, then move the thumb down the right side of the nose. Pass along the upper lip under the nose and then up the left side of the nose to the bridge. This movement will be like the outline of the “Trefoil”. After you have done about twenty movements, you will feel deep relaxation of the mimic and extraocular muscles.

The third kind of relaxation massage, the “Complete Massage”, passes all over the face. Accordingly, after it you will get the fullest relaxation of the extraocular and mimic muscles. Begin at the bridge of the nose on the right, then pass down the edge of the face to the chin, around the mouth, then around a nose and up to the bridge. Do the same movement over the left eyebrow and around the edge of the face back down to the chin. Then move up to the bridge of the nose, around the mouth, and around the nose. Do about twenty movements.

These kinds of relaxation massage eliminate tired eye muscles and help alleviate eye strain quickly. Using them, you will feel a lightness and an influx of force in the eyes.

Take care of your eyes. Get rid of myopia the natural way.
